Job summary

Home2 Suites Prattville is seeking an enthusiastic laundry attendant dedicated to providing guests with exceptional service. Duties include laundry operations such as washing, ironing, and sorting linens, as well as ensuring that cleaning supplies are stocked.

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience as a laundry attendant or in a similar role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Compensation ranges from $13.50 to $14.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant or similar role is strongly desired.
• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly.
• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low.
• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed.
• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods.
• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements.
