Job summary

ARK in Texas is seeking a friendly laundry attendant to help ensure hotel guests are satisfied during their stay. You will load, wash, iron, press, and fold linens while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to lift 20 pounds, and comfortable using industrial cleaning products. Prior hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred; good communication with team and guests is welcome.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• Experience with industrial cleaning products preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; good communication

Responsibilities

• Sort linens, treat stains with appropriate products and methods
• Load laundry into washer and add cleaning agents as directed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs
• Unload dried linens and fold, press, and organize per instructions
• Ensure laundry equipment is functioning and report repairs to facilities manager

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member who enjoys interacting with guests and making them feel at ease. Responsibilities include washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis.

Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
• Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
• Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
