Job summary

ARK is seeking an enthusiastic laundry attendant to help ensure our hotel guests enjoy a spotless and comfortable stay. You will wash, iron, press, and fold linens, talk with guests to put them at ease, and handle routine laundry tasks with care.

Ideal candidates lift 20 pounds+, have a high school diploma, and bring 1+ year of laundry or housekeeping experience. Compensation ranges from $14.50 to $15 per hour, with knowledge of commercial cleaning products valued.

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens, and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. If you’re friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done.

Compensation: $14.50 - $15 yearly

Qualifications

• We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products

Responsibilities

• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
• Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low
• Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management
