Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown River North is seeking a friendly Laundry Attendant to help keep our rooms and public areas pristine. You will manage linen flow, assist with housekeeping needs, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic.

This full‑time role offers a clear path for growth within a reputable hotel brand, competitive hourly pay, benefits eligibility, and discounts on travel and services.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that counting is done with the laundry collector to avoid discrepancies.
• Ensure that all linen sent out is returned to the quality standard set by the hotel.
• To distribute clean room linens to the floor linen closet.
• To collect all rubbish bags from the floor landing area and carts.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus

$24.50 per hour
