DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center is seeking organized, self-motivated Housekeepers to join our TEAM. You will help maintain guest room cleanliness and contribute to a positive guest experience through attention to detail.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, potential bilingual support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement through our development programs. Full-time positions offer competitive benefits and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus.
• Willing to train the right candidate for growth within the team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms.
• Washing dirty bedding, clothing and linen.
• Stocking and maintaining housekeeping supplies.
• Dusting furniture and fixtures; polishing surfaces.
• Sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks.
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs.
• Reporting breakages and safety issues for repairs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus

$16.00 per hour
