Job Responsibilities:

• Sort all linen in preparation for washing.
• Wash linen following a set formula, dry, fold, and iron linens.
• Perform rewash and stain treatment procedures.
• Return stray items found in linen to the supervisor.
• Fill linen requisitions and assist in inventory counts.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Clean laundry machinery and cover remaining linen carts at day’s end.
• Keep work area clean and organized; clean laundry bins at shift end.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 lbs.
• Stand or walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good reading, writing, and verbal skills in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical mobility and ability to perform job duties in various work environments.
