WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Sort all linen in preparation for washing.
• Wash linen following a set formula, dry, fold, and iron linens.
• Perform rewash and stain removal procedures.
• Return stray items found in the linen to the supervisor.
• Fill linen requisitions.
• Assist in counting linen during inventories.
• Keep daily production records.
• Clean laundry machinery and cover remaining linen in carts at day’s end.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean laundry bins at shift end.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Observe and detect signs of emergency situations through hearing and visual ability.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Stand/walk for 6-8 hours per day.
• Communicate effectively.
• Work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate verbally.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages).
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Physically mobile with accommodations, including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing in various work areas.
