Freedom Village at Brandywine in Coatesville, PA is seeking a temporary part-time Laundry Associate to join our dedicated team. This role involves washing, ironing, folding and sorting clothing and linens, with weekend shifts required.

You will work closely with residents and staff, maintain a clean and sanitary laundry area, handle equipment properly, and follow all state and federal regulations. Previous commercial laundry experience helps, but is not required.

Qualificações

• Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, clean, and redistribute the Community laundry.
• Ensure Health Center laundry is sorted, washed, and dried per regulations.
• Maintain laundry area in clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Complete work in priority order set by supervisor.

We are currently hiring a temporary part-time laundry associate for 16 hours per week every weekend required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Laundry Associate is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens.
