Job summary

Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry and Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, comfortable rehab-recovery suites. You will perform housekeeping, handle laundry, clean and disinfect rooms, and support storage areas while providing excellent customer service to residents and families.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and flexibility for weekends and holidays, supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Perform a variety of housekeeping duties, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing
• Clean and disinfect all areas of the facility, including common areas and resident rooms
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of storage areas and closets
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as preparing resident meals and snacks, and supporting other departments
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to our guests and their families
