Job summary

Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry and Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, comfortable rehab-recovery suites. You will perform housekeeping, handle laundry, clean and disinfect rooms, and support storage areas while providing excellent customer service to residents and families.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and flexibility for weekends and holidays, supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties: make beds, change linens, clean bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Assist with laundry: washing, drying, folding linens and clothing.
• Clean and disinfect all areas, including common areas and resident rooms.
• Maintain organization of storage areas and closets.
• Assist with other duties as needed and support other departments.
• Demonstrate commitment to exceptional customer service to guests and families.
