Responsibilities

• Launder residents’ personal items and facility items.
• Pick up dirty laundry and return clean, folded laundry.
• Maintain laundry room and storage area.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies.
• Perform related janitorial duties as assigned.
• Other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment

Job description

Our Laundry Aides play an important role in the comfort of our senior living residents. They must be hardworking and enjoy serving others by meeting the laundry needs of residents. The right person will be diligent, organized, and self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities

• Laundering of residents’ personal items (ex. clothes, bed linens) as well as facility items (ex. table linens)
• Pick up dirty laundry and return clean, folded laundry to residents within 24-48 hours
• Maintain laundry room and storage area
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies
• Perform related janitorial duties as assigned
• Other tasks as requested by supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment
