Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon is seeking a Full-Time Laundry Aide to support our long-term care residents. The role involves maintaining clean linens, clothing, towels, and other laundry items while upholding sanitary practices and timely service.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with 10-hour shifts, offering extended days off. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well both independently and as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or preferred.
• 1 Year Of Experience Preferred.
• Prior laundry/housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove stained or holed items from service.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Use equipment safely and report issues to the Administrator.

What You’ll Do

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident’s clothing items as needed
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator
