Sequim Bay Post Acute in Sequim, WA is looking for a Laundry Aide to keep residents’ clothing and linens clean and well cared for. No experience is needed and on-the-job training is provided.

You will learn to safely operate washers and dryers, follow infection control procedures, and support a respectful, collaborative housekeeping team. This entry-level role offers competitive hourly pay and the chance to work in a community-focused facility on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and safely handle laundry chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Collect soiled resident clothing, linens, towels, and blankets from designated areas.
• Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and level of soiling according to facility procedures.
• Safely operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
• Measure and use detergents, disinfectants, and other laundry products according to instructions.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special handling needs.
• Return clean clothing and linens to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Keep clean linens, towels, and blankets stocked throughout the building.
• Follow infection control procedures and wear PPE when handling soiled or contaminated laundry.
