Job summary

Bayview in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to manage sorting, washing, drying and folding of cloth items for residents. The role requires careful attention to infection control, safety and efficiency, ensuring fabrics are cared for and processed promptly.

Working full-time, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with compensation at $22.00 per hour plus DOE. This position is non-exempt and hourly, offering benefits as part of a Great Place to Work culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infection control and universal precautions.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions for laundry equipment and chemicals.
• Experience or skill in handling and caring for fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold a large volume of cloth products.
• Perform duties in a timely, efficient and safe manner to minimize infection risk.
• Prioritize laundry tasks based on residents' and staff's needs.
