Job summary

Ciena Healthcare in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to provide clean and comfortable living environments for residents, staff, and visitors. You will follow facility policies, maintain sanitary laundry processes, and support safety standards while assisting with additional housekeeping tasks as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may prefer at least one year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Respond productively to tasks and projects as assigned.
• Cleans linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedule.
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous waste, per policy.
• Complies with safety instructions when using chemicals.
• Cross trains in Housekeeping and assists as needed.

Laundry services provided are maintained in accordance with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Able to respond productively and to handle additional tasks/projects as assigned
• Cleans linens to department procedures and cleaning schedule

• Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
