Job summary

Bella Terra Schaumburg is seeking aLaundry Aide to join our friendly, caring team. You will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident linen and clothing, while maintaining cleanliness and infection control.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred. Weekend rotation and 7am-3pm shifts are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident linen and clothing.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen and clothing.
• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen is available.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents' linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atBella TerraSchaumburgby ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
