Avantara Arrowhead is hiring a Part-Time Laundry Aide, available on weekends, to join our skilled nursing team and support resident care. Your duties include maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards, ensuring adequate linen supply, and sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and linen.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent; prior Laundry Aide experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen and manage sorting, washing, drying, labeling and delivering resident clothing and linen.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing.

Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
