Job summary

Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our caring team in Mason City. You will maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen and clothing, ensuring a steady supply of facility linen by sorting, washing, drying, labeling and delivering items.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen and clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident clothing and facility linen.
• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen for residents.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
