LakePointe Senior Care and Rehab in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to maintain clean linen and supply residents and staff.

You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linen, deliver to units, and help keep the facility's laundry area sanitized. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and good communication.

Qualifications

Laundry Aide - Part Time (Clinton Township, MI)

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn: Earn over $17.60 per hour!

• Starting wages $16.75 per hour
• PLUS Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour!)
• Yearly Wage Increases

How you will help people every day:

• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

• 8 hour shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
