Job summary

Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center in Westland, MI, is seeking a Laundry Aide for afternoons (1 PM–9 PM). You will sort, wash, fold, and deliver linen, while keeping work areas clean and sanitized to support a compassionate care team.

Starting wage is $14.50/hour plus $0.85/hour hero pay, with yearly increases. The facility offers PTO, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement up to $2,500 per year, referral bonuses, 401k with employer match, and leadership support.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and collect soiled linen and prepare for washing.
• Load and unload washing machines and dryers.

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn:

• Starting Wages $14.50 per hour
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard pay

We need your help with these scheduling needs:

• Part Time - All Shifts include Rotating Weekends & Some Holidays
• Afternoons / Evening shift: 4 Nights/Week 1 PM - 9PM
