Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support daily laundry operations within a healthcare facility. The role emphasizes adherence to policy, safety procedures, and efficient handling of soiled and clean linens.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean laundry areas, following MSDS guidance for chemicals, and assisting with resident needs while upholding hygiene and safety standards. This position may require varied shifts including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to and assures compliance with Code of Conduct, facility policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment when lifting or moving heavy objects (objects may exceed 30 pounds).
• Keep work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc.
• Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions; refer to MSDSs.
• Dispose of refuse daily per sanitation procedures.
• Ensure adequate supply of laundry/linen items to meet daily needs of residents.
• Sort, wash, and iron laundry as instructed; standing required during ironing.
• Transport laundry items; cart may exceed 30 pounds.
• Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces; ensure safety signs are set up.
• Knock before entering a resident’s room.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
