Job summary

The Ensign Group's Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery facility seeks a dedicated Laundry Attendant to manage daily linen and garment processing, ensuring clean, safe environments for residents.

You will follow facility policies, handle chemicals safely, sort and wash items, transport laundry, and assist with other housekeeping duties as needed. This on-site role requires the ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and assures compliance with Code of Conduct, facility policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards as promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies when lifting or moving heavy objects (objects may exceed 30 pounds).
• Sort, count, and wash soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., in accordance with established procedures.
• Transport laundry, linen, garments, etc., includes pushing a cart that may exceed 30 pounds.
• Knock before entering a resident’s room.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
