Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in laundry/housekeeping.
• Ability to read and understand directions for procedures.
• Basic math skills needed and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Make available clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove worn items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing as required.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary procedures and maintain supplies inventory.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report issues.
