Job summary

Roseville Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to perform a variety of general laundry and housekeeping duties within a nursing home. You will ensure clean linen for residents and maintain sanitation standards while handling laundry equipment safely.

Qualifications include a GED or High School Diploma, basic math, and the ability to read directions. Prior experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove stained/holes.
• Collect laundry from residents daily.
• Label new residents' clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
