Job summary

York General is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our laundry department across the campus. You will manage daily workloads on clean and soiled sides, operate commercial laundry machines, and deliver clean linens to various departments while upholding quality and safety standards.

We’re looking for a team player who can read safety data sheets, lift up to 35 pounds, and is at least 18 with a HS diploma or GED. A Nebraska driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License.
• Physically able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for the majority of the shift.
• Read and understand safety data sheets.
• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Are you someone who takes pride in a job well done, values cleanliness, and enjoys being on the move? York General is looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to support our mission of providing hygienically clean linen for patients and staff across our healthcare system.

What You'll Do:

Plan and manage daily workloads on both the clean and soiled sides of laundry operations.

Operate commercial laundry machines and other equipment safely and effectively.

Deliver clean linens to various departments across the campus.

Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License

A team player with a strong work ethic who can work independently.

Ability to read and understand safety data sheets.

Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Physically able to meet job demands: lift up to 35 pounds, stand or walk for 95% of the shift, and work in all weather conditions.
