Job summary

York General is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to support the mission of providing hygienically clean linen for patients and staff. You will manage daily workloads, operate laundry machines, and deliver linens across the campus.

The role requires a Nebraska driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and the physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for most of the shift. Safety and quality are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

Plan and manage daily workloads on both the clean and soiled sides of laundry operations.

Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License

A team player with a strong work ethic who can work independently.

Ability to read and understand safety data sheets.

Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Physically able to meet job demands: lift up to 35 pounds, stand or walk for 95% of the shift, and work in all weather conditions.
