Job summary

Complete Care at Voorhees seeks a Laundry Aide to join our team and help maintain clean linens and a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Experience is not required but preferred; training will be provided. You will operate laundry equipment, follow safety guidelines, and support a compassionate, service-oriented community.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing of cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Demonstrate flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Work effectively with residents and personnel in a caregiving environment.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled and clean linen.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads linens; folds and distributes.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Maintains laundry areas and equipment; keeps area neat and safe.
• Delivers laundry as specified and provides courteous service to residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual’s needs and rights

Requirements
