Job summary

Royalton Manor in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Laundry Aide to provide laundry services ensuring a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. On-site, part-time position with competitive pay and benefits; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include laundering textiles, following schedules, and adhering to safety protocols. Join our team to help maintain clean linens and a welcoming atmosphere for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

• Cleans linens to department procedures and cleaning schedule
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
• Cross train in Housekeeping and assist as needed.

Laundry services provided are maintained in accordance with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
