Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility laundry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen and clothing.
• Ensure adequate supply of facility linen and deliver resident clothing and linen.
• Sort, wash, dry, label, and deliver laundry to residents and facility areas.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Libertyville by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
