Lancasteremerald's EVS department is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Aide to maintain cleanliness by washing, drying, and delivering patient clothing and linens.

Join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska, with an every-other-weekend schedule. A high school diploma and healthcare experience are required; you must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates welcome to apply!).
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold patient clothing and linens according to facility protocols.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Fold and package linens and clothing for distribution to patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry production and inventory.
• Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the laundry department.
