Job summary

Johns Island Post Acute is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our expanding team on the Day shift (7a-3p) in Johns Island, SC. The role involves maintaining linen supplies for residents and ensuring clean, properly labeled linen and clothing are delivered to rooms.

We offer a $15 per hour wage with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed
• Sorting, treating, washing, drying and folding clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.

Essential Duties:
