Job summary

The Laundry Aide at CienaHealthcare in Michigan provides laundry services to residents and staff, ensuring clean linens and a safe, sanitary environment in line with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

You will respond to tasks as assigned, clean according to procedures, handle waste safely, follow chemical safety rules, and cross-train in housekeeping to assist as needed, supporting quality care across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Able to respond productively and to handle additional tasks/projects as assigned
• Cleans linens to department procedures and cleaning schedule
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
• Cross train in Housekeeping and assist as needed.
