Job summary

CienaHealthcare in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to provide clean linens and a safe, homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors. The role emphasizes quality, compassion and teamwork in daily laundry operations.

You will follow facility policies, handle waste according to procedures, assist with housekeeping tasks, and participate in cross-training while maintaining safety with chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Respond productively to tasks and projects as assigned.
• Cleans linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedule.
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous waste, following policies.
• Complies with safety instructions when using chemicals.
• Cross-trains in Housekeeping and assists as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
