Ellen Memorial Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center LLC in Honesdale, PA is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to join our team. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare, plus strong English communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry.
• Sort soiled laundry and handle items needing special care.
• Ensure clean laundry is delivered to the appropriate areas.
• Keep laundry room, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain adequate supply of linens and laundry items.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
