Job summary

Fundamental in Camden, SC is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform day-to-day laundry duties, distribute clean linen, and maintain a clean work area in accordance with applicable standards. This full-time role offers an evening shift 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Duties include collecting soiled linens, washing, drying, folding, ironing as needed, and possibly washing or mending residents' personal clothing under supervisor instruction.

Qualifications

• Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent G.E.D
• General laundry/ housekeeping experience preferred, but not required, as on the job training will be provided
• Must speak and understand English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience in a healthcare facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry duties including distribution of clean linen and maintaining a clean work area
• Collect soiled linens from throughout the facility, sort them, wash & dry them, fold clean linens, iron linens as necessary
• May also wash, dry, and mend patient’s/ resident’s personal clothing as directed by their supervisor.

Position Summary

The Laundry Aide will perform the day-to-day laundry activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be instructed by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that general laundry duties, distribution of clean linen, and maintenance of a clean work area is complete.

Full Time Position

Rate of Pay is $15.00 per hour

Evening Shift

3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Posted Salary Range

USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
