Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services / housekeeping team member in Greensburg, KY to clean resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas while maintaining infection control standards. You will operate vacuums and floor buffers, manage supply packs and linens, and support residents with sensitivity to privacy.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED diploma
• Previous long term care experience preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively; prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Resident-Focused Support: Practice sensitivity to residents’ privacy and individual needs while adhering to infection control policies and completing all required documentation accurately.
