Journey is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our care team in Warrenton, GA. The role focuses on daily and deep cleaning of resident spaces, ensuring a sanitary, safe environment for residents and staff.

You will work with a local team to uphold infection control standards, manage supplies, and maintain equipment while respecting residents' privacy and needs. This position emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in long-term care cleaning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor buffers) and manage supplies.
• Respect residents' privacy and document activities in accordance with infection control policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous long term care experience preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively; prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Resident-Focused Support: Practice sensitivity to residents’ privacy and individual needs while adhering to infection control policies and completing all required documentation accurately.
