Job summary

Yona Eagle in Wisconsin is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. You will provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while handling laundry duties and maintaining inventory. Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include operating washing machines and dryers, transporting linens, folding and distributing laundry, and ensuring clean, organized work areas. A background check is required; the role emphasizes reliability and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing of cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains laundry areas and equipment; keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: ensures high quality service in a caring, compassionate atmosphere.
