Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking a Laundry Aide to join the team. You will provide warm, friendly hospitality by handling laundry duties for residents, visitors, and coworkers. Experience is not required but preferred, and a background check is required.

The role involves operating washing and drying equipment, sorting and distributing linen, maintaining clean facilities, and following policies to ensure high service levels and smooth operations within a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Ability to work independently; possess flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: ensures guests receive high quality service in a caring atmosphere.
