Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and delivering laundry while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following safety guidelines. Experience is not required but preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers and carts of linen.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load soiled and clean linens.
• Fold and distribute clean linen and clothing.
• Keep accurate linen inventory records.
• Maintain laundry equipment and areas, keeping them clean and safe.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry to designated locations.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts


• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers


• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers


• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts


• Keeps accurate records of linen inventoryWashes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing


• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner


• Follows all company policies and procedures


• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs


• Delivers laundry as specified


• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc


• Ability to work independently


• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic


• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel


• Must provide a criminal background check


• Laundry experience is a plus
