Yona Solutions in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. Experience is not required but preferred, and you will provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers in a clean, well-managed environment.

You will operate commercial laundry equipment, manage linen inventories, and follow all policies to ensure high-quality service. This role offers growth opportunities and support within a compassionate facility.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains laundry areas and equipment in a neat, safe condition.
• Delivers laundry as specified.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
