You will operate commercial laundry equipment, follow infection control procedures, and help keep the facility’s laundry area tidy while supporting a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare laundry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Able to stand long periods and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold linens and residents’ laundry.

Position Summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team for second shift. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents by ensuring timely and accurate laundering of linens and personal clothing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold facility linens and residents’ personal laundry
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling and labeling of residents’ clothing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor
• Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry throughout the facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
