Valley View Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry Aide to support resident comfort by cleaning linens and clothing. The role reports to the Director of Housekeeping and involves washing, drying, folding, and returning items to appropriate locations with care.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Ability to perform essential job functions and meet physical and sensory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Ensure all laundry items are returned in excellent condition.
• Follow proper laundry, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Support overall housekeeping operations as needed.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Laundry Aide is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and returning linens and clothing to designated areas and/or residents, ensuring all items are clean, well-maintained, and handled with care.
