Job summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the second shift in Fairborn, OH to maintain clean linens and residents’ clothing, supporting a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents.

The role requires operating commercial laundry equipment, following infection control procedures, and collaborating with a team to ensure timely delivery of clean laundry throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold facility linens and residents’ personal laundry
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling and labeling of residents’ clothing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor
