Job summary

Sheffield Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Detroit, MI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to provide clean linens and maintain a homelike environment for residents. On-site role with training and opportunities to assist across housekeeping duties.

The position requires a minimum high school diploma or GED, with a preference for at least one year of housekeeping experience. Competitive benefits and a supportive team are offered to eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
• Cross train in Housekeeping and assist as needed.

The Laundry Aide provides laundry services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public. Laundry services provided are maintained in accordance with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
