Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary environment by efficiently handling laundry for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include laundry operations, inventory management, sanitation, records of laundry activity, teamwork, and friendly customer service for internal and external clients. Evening shifts are available in Cleveland, OH with part-time or full-time options and daily pay available.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a nursing home facility.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items per procedures and safety standards.
• Track and manage inventory of laundry supplies; report low supplies and assist with orders.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols and health regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activity and special handling instructions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely completion of laundry services.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Laundry Operations: Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items, including linens, uniforms, and personal items, according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory of laundry supplies; report low supplies and assist with placing orders as needed.
• Sanitation Standards: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring that all items are properly sanitized and handled in compliance with health regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry activity, including counts of items washed and any special handling instructions.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services; communicate any issues or concerns to management promptly.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external clients, responding to any laundry-related inquiries professionally and courteously.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay: $14.50/HR

• Part-Time/ Full-Time Shifts

• Evening Shift

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
