Job summary

Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our day shift operations. You will operate laundry machines, fold and iron linens, and help maintain cleanliness and inventory in the laundry area.

We offer a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) with weekend rotation, a $500 sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Availability to work Day shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the operation of industrial washing and drying machines, as well as folding and ironing of linens and patient clothing
• Ensure high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the laundry area, including the handling and storage of soiled linens and laundry equipment
• Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations
• Maintain accurate records of laundry processing, including inventory management and tracking
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director of Environmental Services

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
