Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to maintain clean and hygienic facilities for residents. The full-time role supports daily operations in our healthcare environment, ensuring timely handling of laundry tasks and resident comfort.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and compassionate service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth as part of a caring, resident-focused organization in Lake Katrine, NY.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled laundry from residents' rooms and transport it to the laundering facility.
• Washing, drying, and folding laundry in commercial machines.
• Distribute clean laundry to residents.
• Deliver soiled linens to the laundry, sort, wash, and return clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
• Clean laundry and equipment areas.
