Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center in Warrenton, VA is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team. The role involves collecting, sorting, washing, drying, and distributing resident and facility laundry with attention to infection control and safety.

The position requires ability to follow procedures, work quickly in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with nursing and housekeeping staff. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, or similar experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Reliable, dependable, and organized.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to handle physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving laundry.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry
• Follow proper procedures for handling soiled and contaminated laundry
• Ensure resident clothing and personal items are properly labeled and returned to the correct resident
• Maintain an organized and sanitary laundry area
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
• Report damaged, missing, or unclaimed clothing and linens
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens throughout the facility
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments
• Treat residents and their personal belongings with care, dignity, and respect

Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour based on experience

Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center is looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to join our team! If you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly, we would love to have you on our team.
