Yona Solutions in Beardstown, IL is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. Experience is not required but preferred; you will assist with laundry processing and maintain clean, organized spaces.

You will transport, operate washers and dryers, fold and distribute linens, and ensure accurate records. We value reliability, compassion, and teamwork in delivering friendly service to residents, visitors and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads linens into washers and loads dried linens into dryers.
• Folds, sorts, and distributes clean laundry to carts.
• Maintains accurate linen inventory records.
• Books, washes, dries, folds, and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains cleanliness of laundry areas and follows safety guidelines.
• Checks supplies and notifies supervisor of needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Provides warm, compassionate service to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
